surplus with low costs. They are balking at

and theories that if Greece fails, the whole
Euro currency fails. So the return of the
fear is starting to creep into the media
again and I would think we start another
pullback, although slowly at first.

any reversal to spot a bad trade is when it’s
lagging or consolidating, that’s a big red
flag

would really help — at what point did you
know that the 2nd helping of RRC short wasn’t
working? when it started back up, or when
it actually hit a new higher high?
[12:20 pm] Kris : depends on your strategy, I
usually don’t stick around more than about
15-20 minutes depending on relative
strength/weakness
[12:20 pm] sonorant : so how long do you
stay at the party?
[12:20 pm] sonorant : sometimes they are
just a little slow, sometimes there is a
second top and then they go down….
[12:20 pm] trvlntrdr : Kris you don’t mind
consolidations in trends but you do in
reversals, correct?
[12:21 pm] Kris : consolidation is more often
a continuation pattern.
[12:21 pm] Kris : that is correct

Kris : once you trade enough of a strategy,
you will get very good at spotting those.
[12:22 pm] Kris : that was a big part for me
turning the corner in my trading. dumping an
underperforming trade early and reducing my
loses.
[12:22 pm] trvlntrdr : I have been cutting
my winners short when they consolidate
[12:23 pm] candelas : and even though u
have the “1%” stop does not mean u have to
take it
[12:23 pm] sonorant : The other question I
had from a little while back, was there were
3 calls all pretty much at the same time this
morning — THOR, RRC and PCX. Was there any
good way to choose between them?
[12:24 pm] candelas : depends of course on
strategy
[12:25 pm] Brent : if you only trade one at a
time, pick the one that best matches the
rules of the particular strategy
[12:25 pm] sonorant : They were all
reversals. I ended up taking THOR and PCX,
and the real winner was RRC
[12:28 pm] sonorant : PCX would have been
pretty good later, but at the point where I
entered
[12:29 pm] lisas : made money on THOR, so
still good
[12:29 pm] lisas : Same here sonorant, you
just have to figure that over time, they’ll
average out
