is the way to go until you are consistent.
Just don’t pick up bad habits because it’s
sim. I found myself doing that, until I had a
big loss, then was terrified that I was live
and not sim.

and when you go live, still start out

remember that horrible fear that maybe I had

for me, is I ALWAYS check for open orders I
might have left on, especially in
futures

opened sim platform in am and had positions
entered overnight

: again, the only negative with sim is that
you dont get the emotion

lisas : Yes, you have to set goal to
meet, goals to follow rules, etc, before you
can go live

when you go live, trade small to
start

and be ready because your mental state will
be totally different

if u only trade 10 shares

before I should have and now have simular
issues to what eyes is dealing with

lose $5k on a sim trade, you can always hit
the reset key and be back to even..not so
much live

people hate admitting they are wrong, which
is why you see trades taken with no
stops

stopped, then you are wrong..people dont like
that

lot to still learn but i am believing i will
use stops!

using stops means you were right in realizing
you were wrong on this particular
trade

using some excuse like ” it has to come

your stop and exit targets before you place

situation like a daytrade how can you always
figure ithat out when a stock is moving
fast?

walking into a building..always know where

elisha: that comes with practice, but a quick
look at a chart you can see where price came
from for example

indicators,pivots etc

i closed it for a small gain

loss

easily been a big loss..point is to do your
best to not make the “dumb” mistakes because
the market will give you enough on your
“good” ideas 🙂
