Here is the Daily chart on oil, light crude
oil.
[11:51 am] Mitch K: At least oil has
paralleled for last few years, didn’t used to
but it does now
[11:51 am] Mitch K: came from 115 level on
4-29-2011, 3 trading days later Obama said
oil is too high and he was going to open the
Strategic reserves up to the market. oil
dropped $10 a barrel that day
[11:51 am] Mitch K: we hit $76 last Tuesday,
same day as stocks bottomed. Oil follows and
parallels stocks
[11:52 am] Mitch K: you guys see the same
pattern in this oil chart as stocks right,
increasing volume, parabolic decrease in
price……. same awesome setup for a LONG
swing trade
[11:53 am] Mitch K: so that led me to giving
you DIG, so let’s bring that up next
[11:53 am] Mitch K: you see the word “Ultra”
in the description of DIG – Proshares Ultra
Oil and Gas? that means 2 to 1 leverage on
the etf LONG oil stocks
[11:56 am] Mitch K: mikewd2,i think i
mentioned 47 area but let me explain that in
a moment about the target price on DIG
[11:56 am] Mitch K: so if oil has moved up ,
let’s say 14% in light crude, DIG should have
moved up about twice as much or 2x and that’s
close to what has happened. DIG has moved up
about 25% to current price and 30% would have
been 2x but DIG has some oil stocks like the
oil service stocks and i think some
refineries that dilute the performance down
because those don’t move as much.
[11:57 am] Mitch K: here is 2x etf LONG the
Nasdaq Qs, or QQQ
[11:57 am] Mitch K: im CHinese speaking
SPanish, go figure.
[11:57 am] Mitch K: see Ultra? 2x, or two to
1, comprende?
[11:58 am] Mitch K: TNA, 3x, THREE to 1
Russell 2000 so this is very aggressive
[11:59 am] Mitch K: Small caps are already
aggressive and volatile by nature of its
price and speculative in nature in the first
place but a 3X? that’s why we put it in the
Aggressive box in the DSR
[12:00 pm] Mitch K: and this one has the most
potential but the highest risk. I still see
60-65 but the train has left the station
already and I don’t like chasing trains,
especially when they turn around
[12:01 pm] Mitch K: Now I mentioned to you
here in the Trading Room that I hadn’t
checked my accounts yet and I peaked Friday
night for about 10 seconds each account.
because I don’t like to relish in the profits
and get all emotional how much money was
made, what great prices….. that’s all
distraction
[12:02 pm] Mitch K: And stocks are acting
very nicely, couldn’t ask for better
[12:02 pm] Mitch K: you also want to be
watching the trading action, how stocks are
behaving
[12:02 pm] Mitch K: your job is to pay
attention to what is happening in stocks, the
market, Europe and the politicians
[12:03 pm] Mitch K: you got trending pattern
in indexes with one fairly big selloff but
trending thereafter in the SP500 index,
others are prob same but i didn’t check, not
necessary when SP500 is the king of
indexes
[12:04 pm] Kris : SPY consolidating for
another mover higher, holding trendline so
far
[12:04 pm] Mitch K: let me back up for a sec.
Actually guys, I get more emotional about
you guys.
[12:07 pm] Mitch K: I was thinking up there
while reeling in the salmon, “I wonder what
you guys are doing in stocks . . . . I bet
the most experienced ones are holding the
swing trades long, and the newest guys were
day trading the ETFs and kicking themselves
for doing that.” I was shaking my head
because it happens every time and as a
teacher, I don’t know how to communicate any
better than I did last week. But human
nature takes over and controls behavior and
whoever understands this will make a lot lot
more money
[12:09 pm] Mitch K: Someone comes up to me at
a picnic at my house that we hosted
yesterday. He says with emotional tone, I
sold out of those etfs, I wasn’t going to
hold over night. I said “What? you sold
those etfs? When, why, didn’t you get my
video?
[12:11 pm] Mitch K: when you set up your
positions with a clear plan and especially
with as much conviction of the quality of
ideas last week, all you need to do is
“monitor” what is happening with the market
and as long as it is acting within
parameters, you want to hold them
[12:12 pm] Kris : break time. be back in
30.
[12:12 pm] Mitch K: now my take is i think we
have a couple more fairly strong up days,
maybe not as much as today but the uptrend
should continue and let me draw the general
look of the moving average
[12:13 pm] Mitch K: the right side of the V
gets shallower through time

selling but if there is a big spike one day
down, maybe in a week or so, that’s your cue
to sell,

think on your own. You never want to depend
on some stock guru, you want to be
