am] Mitch K: that is natural gas [07:39
am] Mitch K: /NG should bounce soon [07:49
am] Mitch K: getting #3 signal on NG
03-13 [07:52 am] Mitch K: #3 was 4 candles
before Lightning signal, i like that heads
up, i dont rush in i just get lmit orders
lower by 3-5 ticks [07:53 am] Mitch K:
what is hard as usual for most traders is not
the entry but having the self control and
patience to let these run. they often
can take 1-2 hours but you make the call for
yourself when to sell [07:54 am] Mitch K:
yes i like that lisa, do that now, on most
futures[07:54 am] Mitch K: im taling about NG
03-13, 4 range chart, or 5 range [07:54
am] Mitch K: my first target was this 3.430
area but as usual be flexible [07:55 am]
Mitch K: on first contract [07:55 am]
Mitch K: now what normally happens is these
futures can hit a target area or any price
and pullback a little, then get a surge of
buying and move higher but i would sell here,
try to get best price soon [07:56 am]
Mitch K: but that was first trade on the #3
signal, i have been looking for slight
pullbacks to buy the bottom again and get
another helping long [07:56 am] Mitch K:
wo that was about 10-12 ticks for
you [07:57 am] Mitch K: what i am saying
is the #3 isnt a one leg trade, it tends to
be signaling a bottom for quite some time,
often times for 1-2 hours [07:57 am] Mitch
K: ok thats nice electr. [07:58 am] Mitch
K: the other observation i have about this is
you could see an instrument pullback to
starting point again and surge up higher,
then small pullback and surge higher, turn
into a trending move but with tradable moves
in the oscillations [07:59 am] Mitch K:
lisa, are you saying you can position
yourself in a #3 signal on futures and still
trade stocks while the #3 matures? [07:59
am] Mitch K: you have to know where you are
at in the trade. it is easy to get lost
while trading all the oscillations [08:00
am] Mitch K: right lisa, agree. [08:00 am]
Mitch K: the first leg of that move from #3
signal that electrader took is perfectly
valid [08:00 am] Mitch K: that is what i
was thinking too [08:01 am] Mitch K: i
think #3 is best for futures day trading or
as we saw yesterday on daily charts. #3
does not seem to be working for stocks except
for long intervals on chart [08:06 am] Ed
: getting small bounce in SPy [08:07 am]
Mitch K: soon [08:07 am] Mitch K: looking

speaking now [09:25 am] Ed : tight range
on SPY [09:30 am] Ed : monitor LFC see if
we get more vol and selling for potental
play [09:43 am] Mitch K: when you look at
the daily chart of NG 03-13, it looks logical
that we would have a pullback in NG for a few
days as most of these bounces fail on a
downtrend [09:43 am] Mitch K: being
oriented toward the short side on NG would
have higher odds of being
profitable [09:45 am] Ed : SPY
drop [10:09 am] Mitch K: ok anyone who has
futures chart, pull up NG 03-13 on a 4 range
chart now [10:10 am] Mitch K: i want to
show you something [10:11 am] Mitch K:
just one moment [10:13 am] Mitch K: the
peak price was on the 9:29:31 candle
correct? [10:13 am] Mitch K: ok you see
that buy signal at 9:11:25am pacific time on
NG 03-13 on 4 Range chart? [10:14 am]
Mitch K: and it starts showing some red
candles, pulls back a little there and then
gets buy signal then moves up another 17
ticks, you see that? [10:15 am] Mitch K:
then it pulls back for 5 candles and the 2nd
red candle is a Lightning sell signal, you
all following that? [10:17 am] Mitch K: ok
those two pullbacks, don’t trade those on the
short side. Lets say you were long, you
want to think in terms of making money on the
long side and not reverse too often,
especially if you have another leg up after
that first pullback. it is becoming a
trending move and you dont take shorts on a
trending move up [10:18 am] Mitch K: you
want to focus on the idea to be long on a
bullish trend but not take the reverse trades
short unless new evidence or change in the
chart shows the trend is changing. [10:19
am] Mitch K: i am trying to communicate to
recognize trends and stay long ONLY on a
bullish trend and short only on a
downtrend [10:20 am] Mitch K: i am
watching for a small long scalp but vol is
decreasing and getting late in day and I
didnt sleep much last night. And i like
to hang on to the profits. i try to be
more careful this time of day from doing
anything careless, which I have done many
times before. so i know my
weaknesses [10:22 am] Mitch K: when i find
a young kid who is gamer type, i will hire
him to scan many charts so I can give you
more Futures and FOrex signals during day so
we all can trade more quality signals.
I will have him scan for a lot of 3’s as well
as another set of signals we developed that
are really superb. more frequent, but
requires more expertise. i will
integrate that with Lightning but will have
to teach you how to use it [10:24 am]
Mitch K: the low hanging fruit
signals, [10:24 am] Mitch K: gamer will
use two computers with multi screens and i
will use another 2 or 3 desktops with many
screens and monitor for [10:26 am] Mitch
K: so you see that pattern appears to be
repeating itself on NG, trend
continues [10:29 am] Mitch K: qwert, did
you go long on that NG afterall? [10:30
am] Mitch K: ok you see the last drop on NG
had a little more drop than last
pullback? it give me clue that more
sellers want to come in and maybe next sell
signal is a short for 7-10 ticks [10:32
am] Mitch K: 04-13 [10:32 am] Mitch K:
watching PL drop [10:35 am] Ed :
monitoring CLSN [10:36 am] Ed : CLSN

would reduce some here [10:48 am] Ed :
will trail last 1/4 of CLSN long [11:02
am] Mitch K: pull up a 6E 03-13 4 range
chart [11:03 am] Mitch K: that is for Euro
currency future [11:05 am] Mitch K: see
how many candles it was on that downtrend
before a buy signal occurred? i like on
these curerncies the trends usually are
longer than other instruments.
and then a nice rebound up? i call that
or refer to it as cycling well [11:08 am]
Mitch K: i especially like to take a
signal like the buy signal after a longer
drop. odds shift toward you if an
instrument dropped quite a bit before you
took a signal. it also happened to be a
#3 signal at same signal as a Lightning
signal but just that fact a bigger move
occurred befor eyou got the reversal signal
is a good sign of a higher quality
signal. it is at least worth several
candles of a rebound to make 7-12 ticks and
you can close that long before you get a sell
signal [11:09 am] Mitch K: thats a lot of
information but really important you
understand this [11:09 am] Mitch K: when
you trade for small profits you are going to
have to use trading action instead of using a
lightning signal. I mean if you are
trading a quick profit in let’s say, 3 or 4
candles, you have to or should use trading
action and or profit targets because a
lightning signal is designed for a longer
bigger move than those micro trades [11:13
am] Mitch K: if your style is more oriented
toward Joey’s approach with quicker trades
and lower profit targets then you must
understand what i described. if you
trade more toward Lisas style of positioning
and longer holding times, then the actual
Lightning signals will serve you well on both
opening and closing transactions with a
little less emphasis on trading action on the
micro level [11:17 am] Mitch K: if you
ever wonder what the heck you are doing wrong
and are not making money like the guys
posting in the Trading Room, go back to
simulator and practice good habits.
learn slowly and correctly. DOnt worry
if you are not making money while you are in
sim…. just realize you will make money if
you learn properly, then practice it to
reinforce habits and thought patterns,
monitor yourself and behavior all while in
sim mode. Review your Account
Performance by going to COntrol Center,
Account Performance, use date ranges or
advanced analysis of specific contracts, sim
accounts, broker accounts or
instruments. [11:18 am] Mitch K: dont
worry about what other people are
doing. there are always going to be
smarter, faster or more experienced traders
than you. your job is to focus on
learning a technique, practicing in virtual
simulator mode on funny money, and reinforce
correct habits, procedures, thoughts,
emotions [11:19 am] Mitch K: FOr those of
you who are struggling or who have struggled
in the past, you might realize that most of
your losses occurred because of allowing your
emotions get whipsawed and second guessing
yourself. that is no way to build a
foundation of proper trading habits and
techniques. [11:20 am] Mitch K: Most
people learn most things in life that
way. It is very costly to do that in
trading and usually ends up in failure.
if you learn things like flying or other high
risk activities, it often ends in an
accident. [11:21 am] Mitch K: the key to
this whole process is to learn properly
without blowing through your only money to
trade with. so thats why a simulator is
perfect for this, even after you are
experienced [11:22 am] Mitch K: for
example, i wanted to test this group of
signals, so i turned on simulator, did some
trades with zero emotional stress or pressure
and observed how #2’s signals are working in
certain settings [11:23 am] Mitch K:
obviously, this is applicable to professional
traders like the London Whale or all the guys
that over leverage the firm and build too big
of positions themselves to try to repair a
losing position. Peer pressure, loss of
bonus income for them, trying to be a hero,
etc. all same for pros as
well [11:24 am] Mitch K: do you know the
difference in statistics between commercial
airlline/military pilots vs. private pilots
in accident rates? [11:24 am] Mitch K: we
have seen the Barings Bank go bankrupt, two
decades ago, another firm had to liquidate
within last 3 years, we have seen this
often [11:25 am] Mitch K: its like 100 to
1 or 500 to 1 difference and the only reason
is the professional pilots and military
pilots get a lot of training, practice,
briefings, debriefings, peer reviews, more
simulators, etc. [11:26 am] Mitch K: this
is applicable to us as traders [11:26 am]
Mitch K: do you know who are the worst pilots
in the world statistically? guess the
country or regions of the world [11:27 am]
Mitch K: Sorry Doji and others but the SOuth
Americans have one of the worst
records. Middle eastern countries also
very high accident rates. this is
because of cultural influences. People
can’t handle being told what to do from a
subordinate , which a co-pilot is. it
is offensive for them. [11:29 am] Mitch K:
Best pilots are the New Zealand and
Australians and USA comes in after
that. Aussies don’t have a problem
giving or taking an order or constructive
criticism. This can be applicable to
you as a trader. Do you have a
problem accepting the fact you will be wrong
on a certain percentage of trades. Does
that offend you? DO you have a problem
with taking training? [11:30 am] Mitch K:
OR you crash and burn [11:30 am] Mitch K:
you have to look at these questions about
yourself. take a serious look at that
if you are having challenges. Most of
all this goes away and is not a problem after
a certain amount of time and training but you
cant lose your working capital during that
learning phase [11:34 am] Mitch K: you ask
any military personnel at any level and you
ask them what kind of training did they
get. constant classes, phases, schools,
etc. At all levels, all
specialties. the problem with men
especially, is God gave us the an large
amount of testosterone which tends to give
men overconfidence that they can do anything
without reading instructions. i
personally think women start off better as
students because they tend to be more
cautious at first. but then if the men
survive the stupidity phase and were able to
learn past that and still have money left,
they start outperforming the women, probalby
because they are more aggressive, take more
chances. but with training, that is ok
to take be more aggressive as long as you are
proficient [11:35 am] Mitch K: don’t have
the thoughts and excuses in your head like
“Well, I’m not as smart, or i dont have the
money or whatever . . . .” that is all
nonsense. the issue is the training
that you went through makes you the trader
you are. Spotty and weak training =
spotty profits [11:37 am] Ed : just
monitroin HPQ right now [11:37 am] Mitch
K: ok i just instructed Colleen to copy and i
will do that [11:37 am] Mitch K: last
thing i want to say is i notice after
teaching the last 5 years that it takes about
18 months and somehow that apepars to be the
time when a dedicated student becomes quite
proficient. if their lifestyle
supported learning full time and practicing i
see this over and over that seems to be a
turning point [11:38 am] Mitch K: as you
experienced traders know, I am not just
making this stuff up out of blue sky.
I’ve done plenty of analysis of what is
working and what is not in myself and
others [11:43 am] Mitch K: one last thing,
again. What I am highly motivated
to do is have a smaller group of willing
people to get to a very high level of trading
with tools that literally, nobody else
has. this is about competition and if
we have the technology, tools, scanners,
software and training, the odds will be so
heavily on our side that we will consistently
take money from other people’s accounts to
ours. it is spread over all the people
who are getting worse prices, worse timing in
the same stocks or instruments that we are
trading. It becomes a transfer of
assets from their accounts to yours.
that is how this all works, just in case you
didn’t know. [11:43 am] Ed : if u took HPQ
short would cover [11:44 am] Mitch K: this
is basically a closed loop system with a
finite amount of money in the markets and
money just shifts from one group to
others. exception are IPOs that bring
in new money which still we are in a closedly
loop system. [11:45 am] Mitch K: i used
that term 20 years ago khall, harvesting,
especially in swing trades that took 3-5 days
to mature. [11:45 am] Mitch K: so who is
going to consistently win? the people
with no training? relying on
luck? [11:49 am] Mitch K: This year, 2013
we are going to have tools that literally
nobody will have. THis scanner we are
working . . . . think about this. how
would you like to have every #3 signal on
every instrument available? or when a stock
is makign a high quality move.
Lightning is going to mature radically in
this next version with probably 60-65% less
signals, most of which were garbage signals
in the first place. [11:50 am] Mitch K: my
sermon is over, taking off for day, see you
tomorrow [11:50 am] Ed : HLF
alert [11:50 am] Mitch K: and a limited
number of people will have access to this
because it wont work for any of us if too
many people are using the same
tool. [11:51 am] Mitch K: well, one last
