was 1.43% on the 10 year Treasury and went
over 3% this month. The loss in market value
of the bonds the US govt bot has lost 4% and
very likely to drop further. Thats why some
smart guys like Bill Gross of Pimco shorted
the US Treasuries. He would make much more
money on the drop in Treasury bond prices and
cover the short at lower prices than the
yield he has to pay out, which is 1.43% area.
Just remember, the Federal Reserve is ALWAYS
late, 100% of the time. They are awful
investors or traders, they are excellent
contrarian indicators, which is just do the
opposite of what they do
