I usually dont post something like 15+ ticks
because i try to identify and “filter” for
the bigger moves but the oscillations in last
45 minuets have been 15-30 ticks, no big
setups yet.

something like might take 45 minutes or an
hour, those are the big moves i am
anticipating. I dont know how many ticks
those big moves will be but they take a much
longer time frame to mature

personally spend that first hour or so in
stocks and then go full time toward futures.
I still monitor stocks but not as closely as
futures. It is a great one-two punch in
profits, stocks first and then a handful of
high quality futures setups.
(08:12 am) Mitch King:5 star tip in futures,
CL. YOu dont want to get into the habit of
looking for trades that have small profit
potential. you will make much more money and
more consistently if you just wait for the
absolute best setups. it is easier, lower
stress and your confidence remains high day
and day out. if you try to make 5 ticks or
10 ticks, the odds will turn against you and
pretty soon you are starting to do “stupid
trades.”

for 5-10 ticks as potential profit, you start
talking yourself into doing more trades of
lower quality. that is not a winning
startegy
(08:15 am) Mitch King:I missed the highest
quality CL trade at 701am, that big short but
was really busy with TW and ACAD short in
stocks
(08:17 am) Mitch King:I just try not to let
it bother me if i missed something, this is a
marathon, not a sprint. i guarantee you will
see more good setups that day, the next, and
even the slowest days of the year, in late
August there are 2 good setups in CL as a
minimum. and that can easily turn into a
nice day for you

now? this is a no trading zone for me, i
dont touch anything when it goes flat with
low range from low to high. this is when i
go outside and jumprope for a few min

discipline that makes you the money in

end, its discipline. agree?
