[06:41 am] Ed : SPY new lod [06:42 am]
Mitch K: watching for sell point on CME, sell
gradually any long position soon [06:44
am] Mitch K: still watching FRAN for
bottom [06:45 am] Mitch K: watching TNA
for bottom to buy [06:47 am] Mitch K: TNA
turning up [06:47 am] Mitch K: watching
TEX closer [06:48 am] Mitch K: early buy
signal FRAN [06:48 am] Mitch K: SPY
turning up [06:49 am] Mitch K: consider
covering PCAR [06:51 am] Mitch K: TNA is
leveraged 3 to 1; watch SPY at same time next
to TNA chart. have to reset my
computer [06:57 am] Ed : nice bounce
inSPY [06:58 am] Mitch K: watching NOV for
top to sell long [07:00 am] Mitch K: try
for best price to sell [07:00 am] Mitch K:
TNA toppy [07:06 am] Mitch K: see if MJN
makes new highs [07:06 am] Mitch K:
watching MJN for 2nd helping short
soon [07:06 am] Mitch K: monitor CLF for a
top, just watching, strong right now, just
monitoring, no trade idea yet [07:10 am]
Mitch K: expecting some pullback in SPY and
that would help any shorts [07:12 am]
Mitch K: FDX strong even after lowered
outlook by company [07:12 am] Mitch K:
little surge in buying here. [07:13 am]
Mitch K: i only like TNA as a long and i
avoid that for shorts, [07:15 am] Mitch K:
DVA turning over [07:17 am] Mitch K: FDX
toppy [07:19 am] Ed : for Advanced traders
would short the bounces in BIDU, also monitor
next day or 2 for break of 109.79 with vol.
setting up bear cup on 15min [07:23 am]
Mitch K: little toppy here on YELP [07:23
am] Mitch K: monitoring YELP, too strong to
short yet but looking for quick micro short
if it keeps moving like this [07:26 am] Ed
: SPY new hod [07:33 am] Mitch K: not
expecting YELP to break down big, already
happy with profits so far but waiting for
signal [07:34 am] Mitch K: getting sell
signals with SPY as well [07:35 am] Mitch
K: ok when you see a lower low like YELP
gave, generally speaking you want to hold
that short open but still not expecting a big
breakdown [07:36 am] Mitch K: ok see this
candle here, current candle, is lower low,
you now see it accelerate on
downside [07:39 am] Mitch K: consider
covering YELP [07:42 am] Mitch K: that
microtrade short on YELP is a lot easier to
get with Lightning chart. was hard to
get that trade before. only 1% but
still money in the bucket [07:43 am] Mitch
K: now when i look at FDX, i would anticipate
some support around 86.30 area but i like to
wait for at least an early signal to buy
before covering short. your
expectations of profits should be smaller
profits now [07:45 am] Mitch K: very early
buy signal on FDX [07:47 am] Mitch K: i
tend to ignore the very early signals, you
will make more money over time by waiting for
a formal signal [07:48 am] Mitch K: when
you have a trend going on a stock, esp the
large cap leaders that are moving on high
vol, i tend ignore the early
signals [07:50 am] Ed : covering 3/4 on
BIDU short [07:50 am] Mitch K: also, you
want to watch the indexes alongside and keep
that chart in same place all day, everyday,
so your head just snaps to that spot when you
want to know what the overall market is
doing. if SPY is going down like it is
now and FDX is heading down, its more of a
reason to ignore any early signal [07:57
am] Mitch K: hey shark, the story on MNST is
very often the same as many beverage
companies over last 20 years ive
watched. THey have this big growth
curve and they turn into a momentum stock,
sometimes for 12-18 months. SNapple was
same way when i think quacker oats bot them
in mid 90s, a generic soft drink maker that
did private labeling, the list is long. the
clue you look for in a momentum stock like
when MNST moved up from 48 to 78 in five
months is a big volume spike down.
maybe even on a weekly chart and you should
sell right then. look at a weekly on
MNST and the June 29th week is what i am
referring to. it should be a discipline just
to leave, take profits and then you change
your strategy with MNST into day trading
stock for a couple of days on that
volatility [08:06 am] Ed : trailing stop
on last 1/4 BIDU short [08:11 am] Mitch K:
buy signal on NTES if anyone is short good to
cover [08:15 am] Mitch K: there is that
86.30 support level i was talking about on
FDX [08:16 am] Mitch K: watching LULU for
a microtrade short, not ready
though [08:39 am] Ed : nice one on
RGR [08:42 am] Ed : nice call qwert on DVA
gave great longt [08:45 am] Mitch K:
soryr [08:45 am] Mitch K: 2m [08:45 am]
Mitch K: sorry scalpman, i didnt see your
message. yes LULU had sell signal at
832am pacific time [08:47 am] Ed : nice
qwert alert long/short on DVA [09:03 am]
Ed : anyone still short DVA? [09:10 am] Ed
: nice trade eyes [09:51 am] Ed : monitor
CLF, if we get another push in SPY look
for quick move with strong vol to take 34.50
as long [09:52 am] Ed : must have STRONG
vol on the move [09:57 am] Mitch K: it is
a simple chart setup to trade for CL.
you are looking for these bigger moves like
this [09:57 am] Mitch K: this is not a buy
recommendation, just looking at how CL, crude
oil did [09:58 am] Mitch K: 65 ticks in
one run for CL is very good money, $650 on
one contract [09:59 am] Mitch K: pretty
slow though today [10:00 am] Mitch K: this
is that DVA, got a problem with this version,
will work it out [10:01 am] Mitch K: i
followed a bunch of your trades today like
scalp, or shark, ed, eyes, i
compared [10:02 am] Mitch K:
machine [10:03 am] Mitch K: you guys see
that with your own trading? [10:03 am]
Mitch K: the tendency is that we get better
entries than exits. we dont max out the
profit [10:03 am] Mitch K: there were some
occasionally good entry or exit but not on
both sides of the trade [10:04 am] Mitch
K: remember scalpman’s last exit on DVA and
then he quit for the day? i was going
to show him the chart but he left. [10:05
am] Mitch K: you guys look that up? was
45-50 min ago [10:05 am] Mitch K: i
thought scalpmans buy to cover on DVA was
around 102.60 something [10:07 am] Mitch
K: [08:47 am] scalpman : Cover 1/2 DVA
S [10:13 am] Mitch K: minor fix. but
the top of that red candle is sell
point [10:13 am] Mitch K: this is
DVA. the diamond is incorrect, it
should be placed here in blue
circle [10:14 am] Mitch K: you execute on
the 1 min and you monitor on the 2 min, thats
the way i think you should use this with
stocks [10:14 am] Mitch K: ok this is 1
min, this is where the signal was right
here [10:14 am] Mitch K: let me zoom
in [10:15 am] Mitch K: this is candle
scalp bot to cover short [10:15 am] Mitch
K: lets look where scalpman left. now i
am not talking behind scalpmans back, im just
reviewing his trade. [10:16 am] Mitch K:
but he might have had to go though, [10:16
am] Mitch K: buy signal is where?
another 90-92 cents lower or about twice the
profit he made [10:16 am] Mitch K: when he
posted [10:16 am] Mitch K: i figured scalp
got out around 102.91 [10:17 am] Mitch K:
i mean do an errand, or he might have gotten
bored or wife needed something [10:18 am]
Mitch K: so dont take this as a trade
idea [10:18 am] Mitch K: this isnt real
time now shark, i am looking at back
history [10:18 am] Mitch K: have it in
your mind that this isnt a perfect system but
it is real good tool. [10:20 am] Mitch K:
and you dont want to trade something with
real money if you are fighting
yourself [10:20 am] Mitch K: id say this
is going to take you about 3 weeks to get
used to at least. you wont trust it at
first, [10:23 am] Mitch K: GS [10:26
am] Mitch K: you guys understand what i am
saying that it sell signal on GS [10:27
am] Mitch K: what i was asking if you
understand that you can match or beat a
signal sometimes but not consistently.
but the most important advantage you have is
being able to manage a lot of stocks at once
with multiple positions without going mental
by the end of day [10:28 am] Mitch K: this
is good. you know when you watch really
young kids do an easter egg hunt? [10:28
am] Mitch K: ok, word picture for you, i got
it [10:29 am] Mitch K: been a while for
me, my kids in college. but you see the
young boys go really fast, picking up
whatever they see, so excited, running, go
after that egg, then that one, and they see
other people running and compete for another
egg [10:30 am] Mitch K: and they bend over
and drop a bunch of eggs from their
basket [10:31 am] Mitch K: and then the
parents are screaning where to go, get that
one, etc. all that commotion, all that
frenzy is wasted energy. it isn’t real
efficient. the comparison im making is
that is sort of how we trade manually in a
way compared to a something like
lightning. [10:33 am] Mitch K: when you
see signal like i saw about 9-min
ago? [10:33 am] Mitch K: ok you see GS
now? [10:34 am] Mitch K: it doesnt look
like much but i find it does turn into
something. so after watching this for
maybe 2 months now, i just don’t stress out
about a signal, i just act if i am in
an open position. [10:35 am] Mitch K:
repeat: if you are using Lightning
system, and you are in an open position,
don’t ignore the closing signal. [10:36
am] Mitch K: you can compare with another
time interval if you wanted to try to squeeze
out more money. BUT if you have 3, 4,
5, 6 open positions, you probalby wont have
time for that, esp in first 90 min of each
day in stocks. your activity needs to
be the physical movement of placing orders
and managing them, not in the
analysis [10:37 am] Mitch K: very little
time is required for the analysis, making
sense? [10:39 am] Mitch K: if you were
long at that buy point, you just take the
signal. why argue with it? [10:39
am] Mitch K: this is GS. yousee the
sell signal i gave you about 12 min ago? or
13 min. ? [10:40 am] Mitch K: you see im
trying to get you guys to think correctly how
to use it and how to think. i hope this
is all making sense. [10:40 am] Mitch K:
it doesnt matter that it is mid-day trading,
and profit percentages are smaller, its the
maximum amount you can consistently obtain
from this trade [10:41 am] Mitch K: and
maybe after 4-6 weeks or less, you will be
able to say what im thinking now…. “this is
going to take a while before a buy signal to
cover” [10:43 am] Mitch K: on tight spread
stocks, high vol, market orders work
fine [10:43 am] Mitch K: ok, on something
like GS, you can buy at the bid and sell at
the ask because there is usually a lot of
volume. OR because the spread is
usually very tight on GS, you can take a
market order but i like limit orders for sure
on futures, i rarely take a market order on
futures, you are giving up automatically
$20-30 per contract one way if you do
that [10:45 am] Mitch K: see that green
arrow [10:45 am] Mitch K: just got a buy
signal on GS [10:45 am] Mitch K: ok right
now, we got the SPY still dropping [10:46
am] Mitch K: you cover that qwert? [10:46
am] Mitch K: when i am short a stock and the
spy is dropping and the stock im short is not
dropping anymore, i get trigger happy to
cover that stock [10:47 am] Mitch K: ok
nice, you bot below the bid when the signal
came right? thats what i do, buy at bid
or slightly below, dpeends [10:48 am]
Mitch K: does it bother me that GS kept going
down and there was a buy signal to
cover? not at all, its money in teh
bucket, prob more efficient than i could do
and im on to another stock or managing other
open positions [10:49 am] Mitch K: im a
little surprised there was a buy signal so
soon but im not stressed about it, [10:50
am] Mitch K: two part answer on that doji, 1)
i wait for a sell signal as my stop, and 2)
common sense was that support would have been
around 109.30 [10:51 am] Mitch K: wait a
second, i am looking at older version 1c,
should be on 1f [10:51 am] Mitch K:
typical support area you would see
buying [10:52 am] Mitch K: lol, this is
most recent version [10:53 am] Mitch K: on
f version now [10:53 am] Mitch K: we
finished the main improvement on saturday
night, then make tweaks, still needs
testing [10:54 am] Mitch K: he has errors
on the diamonds here, not big deal on
corrections [10:55 am] Mitch K:
EURUSD [10:56 am] Mitch K: diamond is
price when signal occurred [10:57 am]
Mitch K: i will make you guys a killer deal
with this tool, i mean ridiculous. but
you have to do a few simple things in
return [10:59 am] Mitch K: yes i just
looked at RIG, buy signal 2 min ago [10:59
am] Mitch K: i need some intelligent feedback
written by you, after about 2 months of using
it. 1) tell me what problems you are
having on using it. 2) how you are
being successful with it and 3) share you
success on a webcam recording [11:01 am]
Mitch K: and i will grandfather your pricing
as long as you keep it. after this beta
version, you guys still keep ridiculous
pricing but future users will go to higher
pricing. what we get as a core group
working together is something i hope is
really special. and that will be a firm
understanding how to profit from it, good
signals from more people, and whole lot of
fun [11:02 am] Mitch K: plus you might
pitch in once in a while and help a new
person get started [11:04 am] Mitch K: you
click the Account Perfomance tab and get
trades from any day in the past you made
through NInja [11:04 am] Mitch K: see this
lisas? [11:04 am] Mitch K: the alert
window is a log of signals but you can get
your account performance from Ninja [11:05
am] Mitch K: if you did not use ninja to link
to your own broker, then use your brokerage
firms history for trades you made [11:06
am] Mitch K: what i really want to do is
create a really special place where there are
more ideas of higher quality and people that
are supporting the idea of a really special
team [11:08 am] Mitch K: i have already
outlined a work schedule for programmer for
additional tools as add-ons that help
performance [11:08 am] Mitch K: i will
teach you what i know and you guys teach us
what you have learned. this will put
everyone on the same playing level.
wont have any diff between really great
traders or new traders. the signals
become the same. and we will continue
to improve and come out with new versions and
tools to add to this [11:09 am] Mitch K:
especially in futures and forex where
everything is more time sensitive and price
sensitive [11:10 am] Mitch K: i dont know
yet qwert, prob 3 weeks off, not
sure. you going on
vacation? [11:11 am] Mitch K: i havent
looked at wheat for a week [11:11 am]
Mitch K: ok lisa, here is wheat coming
up [11:11 am] Mitch K: wont be this week
qwert [11:12 am] Mitch K: here is what i
know about wheat. not kidding. it
goes in bread and there is a sell signal in
that blue circle [11:12 am] Mitch K: you
like this trrade lisa, it is real
time [11:13 am] Mitch K: we make more
bread if we short that sell signal [11:14
am] Mitch K: its bleeding red because i didnt
load enough history [11:14 am] Mitch K:
corn corn corn, nuttin but corn [11:15 am]
Mitch K: ok there you go, corrected [11:16
am] Mitch K: does that bother me i
breakeven? [11:16 am] Mitch K: ok see this
little small moves, you dont make money on
those. its a breakeven. i show you
connect dots. if it is level with
horizon = breakeven less about $5 round trip
commission per contract. [11:17 am] Mitch
K: look at the trade you made before and the
one after [11:17 am] Mitch K: should it
bother you if it is a breakeven or even a
slight loss? no [11:18 am] Mitch K:
just focus on one thing at a time at first,
dont chase too many eggs with too many new
things. anytime you make a change in
your routine, you got to go back to
practicing, gradually introduce new
routine. if you do it all at once, you
usually lose money [11:19 am] Mitch K:
RIG [11:19 am] Mitch K: ok later
lisa [11:19 am] Mitch K: make sure you
understand first [11:20 am] Mitch K: ok
lesson over [11:20 am] Mitch K: blue
circle makes you homeless, dont trade flat
charts on this system or any other
system [11:21 am] Mitch K: the programmer
thinks i should work on the no trading zone
before beta release. i said no, that is
a black hole that takes months and it is a
usable tool now [11:22 am] Mitch K: and i
told him i am not convinced that we will gain
much [11:22 am] Mitch K: ive tried the no
trading zone and it really applies to futures
and forex better or more easily than
stocks [11:23 am] Mitch K: i will get this
cleaned up a little more, some small tweaks
and get it packaged up for you. i will
outline my proposal for you as a small group
ok? [11:26 am] Mitch K: ok one more
thing [11:32 am] Mitch K: there was a
programmer that i was working with for 6
months on this project. just before we
were finished he decided ask me for some
unreasonably high amount of money and we had
already paid him more than our original
contract. so he never sent me the
program. i had to start the whole
project over with another programmer.
in the meantime, the unethical programmer has
been contacting some of our customers and
competitors trying to sell it. that is
why this has been such a delay. SO
don’t respond to his requests, ok? [11:33
am] Ed : if u took CLF long would reduce
some [11:33 am] Mitch K: RIG is still on
strong uptrend [11:34 am] Mitch K: i cant
say rusty, i’d probably get sued,
lol [11:34 am] Mitch K: i should have
known when he was bragging about being a
hacker in his past. red flag went up in
my mind [11:36 am] Mitch K: no sell signal
in RIG yet mike, it s solidly moving
up [11:36 am] Mitch K: i think people make
more money and have more success if they are
ethical and have character [11:37 am]
Mitch K: this rise in SPY is helping float
the longs higher [11:39 am] Mitch K: now
on something like the JCP news, common sense
for me was it only moved up 30-35 cents and
it just isnt enough of a move to try for a
reversal [11:40 am] Mitch K: when i first
looked at JCP was around 26.55 or 26.58 area
so you need to use common sense that it isnt
enough of a move yet. but is getting
better of an idea as it goes up. [11:42
am] Mitch K: JCP tgoppy [11:42 am] Mitch
K: SPY is still pointing up, market floating
up, squeeze more money out of your
longs [12:06 pm] Ed : getting some selling
in SPY [12:14 pm] Mitch K: yes mike, sell
signal was at 1157am pacific time, $46.75 on
RIG [12:16 pm] Ed : MJN on the
move [12:17 pm] Mitch K: those really fast
ones are trickier [12:17 pm] Mitch K: the
blue mark is where i saw it start moving
up [12:17 pm] Mitch K: and cover [12:17
pm] Mitch K: this is JCP short [12:18 pm]
Mitch K: almost 2% [12:18 pm] Mitch K:
good money for end of day when youare already
burnt toast [12:24 pm] Ed : was nice
breakout but missed [12:24 pm] Ed : stil
monitoring MJN [12:25 pm] Mitch K: sell
signal on 1 min with MJN [12:26 pm] Mitch
K: but not sell signal on 1 min yet [12:27
pm] Mitch K: to answer your question about
going long chingo on JCP after a buy to cover
signal . . . . I dont like to take a new one
so late in day, especially since this was
probably a pop up on some rumor or flash news
that wasnt that big of an event [12:28 pm]
Mitch K: even though MJN moving nice, you
only have 30 min and many of these take a lot
longer, maybe an hour [12:30 pm] Mitch K:
just getting sell signal on 2 min
MJN [12:39 pm] Mitch K: ok later
joey [12:46 pm] Ed : would cover MJN short
on this drop [12:47 pm] Ed : running out
of time [12:57 pm] Ed : have a great
evening traders

Mitch? [10:49 am] doji : Personally,
there is not potential on the upside in

go long [10:50 am] qwert : exactly
doji [10:50 am] mikewd2 -: RIG [10:50

do that in TS also [11:05 am] lisas
: That would be good to show for Lightning
results [11:05 am] victor51 : Mitch,
the buy signal to cover is not necesserily
buy for new position. is that true? How do
you distinguish?? [11:05 am] lisas :
Yes Mike [11:05 am] qwert : show us
yours from yesterday :)) [11:06 am]

trades [11:06 am] mikewd2 -: looking like
a weak bounce on spy thus far [11:07 am]

so lightning would have been worth at least
another 10 cent on RIG trade [11:38 am]
khall : plus mike, we talked yesterday
