said scalping? the spreads were huge,
commissions were 3 cents a share plus $25 one
way for this guy who was going to a trading
room.

the math isn’t there. By that time his wife

rush or do you want to make money?” (his
wife getting real uncomfortable). In 4 weeks
he goes bust from $100,000 to zero, gone.
All because he had no strategy, no system,
big ego and very emotional.

the entries….

the emotions and the ego goes away just
staying in the business. All you have to do
is learn one thing, just one simple little

nickel and dimed when my tight stops get hit,
and then I don’t get the trade….

adjust that thinking. your job is to execute
that strategy, work it correctly. and don’t
even look at the money. try to collapse the
part of your platform that shows profits and
losses. Most of your eyeball time should be
on the indicators, the chart, and most of
that eyeball time is on the indicators, not
the price portion of the chart.

market as opportunity to get unleveraged and
reduce my holdings in one stock to no more
than 10%
[12:08 pm] joeytsa : i have been trading
on/off for 12 years..still have lots to learn
myself

specifically Mitch are most important?
[12:09 pm] Mitch K: you do what i just said
in the last paragraph, you will double or
triple your profit per trade.

yourself, mostly watch the indicators, not
the price

watching the price, not the indicators
[12:10 pm] Mitch K: if you watch the price
part of the chart, the candles, you will talk
yourself out of selling much sooner than you

convergence divergence, so it is a moving
average but i literally look at moving
averages themselves that are buried behind
the candles.

Nison’s candle charting, essentials and

you not weight too heavily the daily goal but
focus more on when you stop seeing the
quality ideas. For scalping, the quality and

the first 90 minutes and next 2 weeks you
should see a significant increase in quality
and quantity after Labor day weekend

word about stops? I set them, but would
like to know about how tightly they should be
set. And all of this is invaluable.

ma once they cross i can get a better signal
on the trade then I look a slow stoch ..then
MAC D and the trend lines and the volume and
look one min 5 15 30 daily for direction

along with the 20/50/200 ma’s

you are looking at the money overall. and I
really think that’s the wrong focus. Think
about executing well, scanning for another
2-3 ideas coming down the pipeline

the time, a high percentage of time, if you
have a good setup, your stops won’t be hit.
BECAUSE, (important) the odds are really
setup to go your way on a proper setup. If
you are always getting stopped out, then you
either have a marginal idea you are chasing
or you aren’t entering the trade at the right
time, usually too early.

have to set a stop, …..

the experienced traders would say about, like
Kris, or Brent, candles, rusty, others. but
that’s been my observation.

stops which ate all my profits.

your stops?

hit my stops when I enter the trade too early
and not when the SMA cross

in case” something happens in the market or
that company’s stock with maybe news that
