about on an oscillator like stochastics.

that at the bottom and top of a move there is
usually the highest volatility
[08:10 am] Mitch K: also know that
stochastics, as all oscillators tell you, in
general, that you may have an overbought or
oversold condition
[08:11 am] Mitch K: on this last couple
comments, not debatable, so take it for face
value. other comments i make or that you may
hear in your career, some are debatable open
to interpretation or opinion and some are
not
[08:12 am] Mitch K: pink circle, at the sell
point is a sell point for LONG or SHORT, it’s
the same thing right? or am I right?
[08:13 am] Mitch K: not a lot of volatility
here, bounced off 15.50 area on ITMN then
went up 6.5%, which is great money on a
scalp, right or right?
[08:14 am] Mitch K: blue circle at bottom is
buy to cover or buy long, means the same,
right or am i right?
[08:14 am] Mitch K: doesn’t matter if you are
going long or you are covering a short, same
signal
[08:15 am] Mitch K: btw, if you are having
problems with your size of announcements box,
stretch the whole trading room
window-browser, and then stretch out right to
left the width of the user chat and
announcements boxes
[08:15 am] Mitch K: look at bottom in volume,
look at the volatility on the candles in the
top blue circle, volume as at bottom blue
circle
[08:16 am] Mitch K: and stretch out the top
to make taller
[08:16 am] Mitch K: right now, we are not
talking about the drop we are seeing now in
ITMN, we are talking about the move we felt
was high probability, this second drop is
another issue

that we normally see at tops and bottoms.
and on this case, the top blue circle, which
is getting shifted by the resizing of the
chart, had that higher volatility with big
candles at that bottom, right?
[08:19 am] Mitch K: 5 star tip here: since
the volatility is high, a stock or any
financial instrument like futures, forex,
doesn’t matter what it is, will move a lot
before the indicator will respond. FACT, not
opinion
[08:21 am] Mitch K: so you can use the price,
or you should use the price in those cases
where high volatility is present to gauge if
you should cover that short. and that is
what the call was based on
[08:23 am] Mitch K: another 5 star tip: you
can see the previous 3 candles, i believe at
800am, 801, 802 have bigger and faster drops,
with increasing volume, that tells you, from
other repeated lessons I have given, that we
are getting sellers exhausting. Many of you
know that is my favorite long chart setup.
even though it didn’t have the follow
through, and since you don’t know how much it
will move, it isn’t relevant at the time you
make a decision to buy to cover or buy long.
you have to take the odds that that is a good
time to cover
[08:24 am] Mitch K: I’m probably giving you
too much to think about, several things to
come into play here
[08:25 am] Mitch K: so let’s talk a little
more about the bottom blue circle, well only
one right now
[08:27 am] Mitch K: stochastics or any
oscillator can stay at an extreme for a
while, it’s the reversal move on that
indicator that tells you a signal but as i
mentioned earlier, you can use price reversal
on HIGH VOLATILITY as a signal, that’s more
based on experience but you can learn this
really fast
[08:28 am] Mitch K: look how many candles it
stayed level, about 4 or 5
[08:28 am] Mitch K: that blue mark is where
stochastics started hitting bottom right?
[08:28 am] Mitch K: that in itself is too
early to cover the short
[08:31 am] Mitch K: but the volatility on
candles started at 804, price wanted to
reverse. also a $16.50 stock dropped about
$2.75 at that point or 20% potential profit
on that one short…conclusion: start
covering
[08:32 am] Mitch K: you can’t say, well, it
went down another 10%. yeah, well you don’t
know that is going to happen and we are not
working with that trade. the odds are that
will be the right decision a high percentage
of the time.
[08:33 am] Mitch K: you aren’t going for
perfection, that’s a 4 star tip, or maybe 3
star. you are trying to get the most profit
the majority of times. it’s really
probabilities when you think about it
[08:33 am] Mitch K: you need this kind of
mindset.
[08:34 am] Mitch K: i am not a gambler but
studied it heavily in college statistics
class.
[08:35 am] Mitch K: if you have 6 reds on
roulette table in a row, consecutive. the
odds are very high you can start betting on
black to show up and if it is red an 8th
consecutive time, you can double or triple
your bet

[08:36 am] Mitch K: and that’s the basis, the
very foundation of consistent profitable
trading

way in stocks, when certain occurrences or
conditions come together, that the odds are
heavily in your favor to take that trade

idea of what i am saying

7 consecutive reds.

than the 2 candles ago on 2 min chart
